Ganggak

Beneath the Gods

Unlike most gods, Ganggak does not maintain any relations with the other gods. His focus is always on his race and so he cares little about what the other gods are doing, as long as it does not affect any of his tribes. While he would probably lose in a direct conflict between the gods, the others recognise his strength and think twice about starting a war with him. For though they would probably win, it would come at a high price.

Depiction

Even when he was growing up, Ganggak was never the tallest goblin, with his short height and slender body he always stood out in a group of goblins, but no one dared to make fun of him, and if someone did, he had to pay for it dearly. Like most goblins, he has green skin and a bald head. On most statues he is shown wearing a helmet and armour, next to which is an axe about the same height and probably heavier than himself.

His followers, mostly Goblinoids, see him almost as one of themselves. There is a famous idiom amongst Goblins, becoming more Ganggak, which means something like becoming stronger, walking further on the path of becoming god(like) oneself.

Holidays

On the 16th of the first month, Hearthfire, is the festive day of Ganggak. Among other traditions, there is a complicated game that is played in that day in honour of Ganggak. The game, Wiknak, is played with the clan, ones family, friends or neighbours and it is about trading (up) concealed gifts.
