Quotes & Catchphrases
I admire your strength, you'll make a fine addition to my tribe.
Impetuous, strong in body and will with a fierce believe in himself, Grom is highly regarded even among the gods. When he picks a side (or a fight for that matter) he stands by his choice and furthers and defends it with all his might. He is not known to use trickery or cruelty to achieve his goals and although he can be unpredictable at times, the gods often rely on his words and his principles. It is no surprise that he is one of the most prevalently worshipped gods of Seres and his endeavours are carried out with little mingling from the other gods.
In exchange for their unwavering devotion, Grom embraced the orcs as his chosen people. One of the truly outstanding gifts he bestowed upon his chosen was the ability of the orcish animals to metabolize the poisoned water into drinkable blood. Thus, giving the orcs an additional and unique method to hydrate themselves. Grom admires strength and determination above everything else and is known to grant humanoids who show those qualities his favour, even when they have bested his plans or worked against him.
Grom is most often shown as a broad-shouldered, muscular man with the head of a bull, with short dark fur and magnificent horns. Although his chosen people are the orcs, Grom is worshipped throughout Seres by a variety of folks. He is widely seen as the physically strongest of the gods and is therefore patron of brawny fighters, honourable gladiators and generally everyone with more boldness than wisdom. It is not uncommon even for those who do not usually worship Grom, to call for his aide before a particular difficult fight, for there are stories of fighters coming back from the brink of death with inhuman strength and resilience, the faint image of horns crowning their heads.
