the Great Oak, Father Forest
Quercus was never largely known throughout Seres. Only those who had a close bond with nature, got lost in the wild or who wilfully destroyed wildwoods came into contact with them. Though it said that Quercus's plane of existence is a magnificent scenery of forests, meadows, wilds and plants, they prefer to wander Seres as part of its nature.
The first time Quercus came into the spotlight was when they uprooted the great trees around the city Enyr and rallied its people to fight back the intruders once and for all. After the fighting and partially destruction of Nepherias Forest, almost half of the people of Enyr chose to follow Quercus and their great tress and those folks became the Wandering Oaks. Nomadic people that wander Seres, living on the moving trees and spreading the word of Quercus. Destroying her forest and stealing half her followers left the goddess Nepheria angered and it is said that she refused to even speak to Quercus for several hundred years. They however are unrelenting in their quest to make amends to Nepheria, always creating new and exciting things for her to stumble upon in the wilds.
In tales of Wandering Oaks, Quercus is often depicted as a large oak tree in humanoid form. On its upper arms, sticks end sporadically in a bush of green leaves and a magnificent crown full of large green foliage blooms on his head. Their face almost looks like ordinary bark on an old tree, but if one looks closely one can see mossy eyebrows, deep yellow eyes, and even an inquiring smile on woodenly lips. It is said that they are a bit slow in their decisions and actions, but when they come to a decision, they stick by it no matter the hardships. Their followers are like them, tenacious, loyal and enduring. Their people pride themselves in their bond with nature and see their connection as a link to the very heart of Seres. Though Quercus' worshippers are mostly friendly when encountered, they can be secretive in their nature and therefore suspicious and cold towards outsiders.

Planting Life: The first Mandas of the month Evening Star is the day when Quercus is, essentially quietly, worshipped. It is custom to plant a tree on this day, commonly one that was nurtured for this purpose, although it is not unheard of to plant „just“ a seed. The rest of the day is mostly spent outdoors and the more austere followers of Quercus also spent the night in the open.
