For a long time, the prophecy was only passed on through stories and songs, the ecaxt wording long lost and forgotten.
Until a few hundred years ago, the young archeologist Sabra Moonfound and her halfling crew stumbled upon the perfectly preserved stone relief of the prophecy in the torrid flat. (siehe erste Prophezeiung)
The sensational find brought scholars and adveturers alike to the small desert to view the stone and unravel the meaning behind the mystifying words. Before anyone made any clear progress on deciphering the prophecy, another stone table was found not far from the first (siehe zweite Prophezeiung) and a few months later, a third not far from the others (siehe dritte Prophezeiung).
Unsure which of the, in parts similar and in parts divergent, prophecies is the true one, all three are regarded as possibly true. Since then, intellectuals from all over the world are working on decoding the meaning behind the words. Many stories are entwined around the true prophecy, travelers and adventurers called to far away places, as well as simple farm hands enchanted by the possibility to be the foretold hero.
