Nepheria
Mother Nature, the Gardener, the Shepherd
Past
Nepheria is the goddess of fauna and flora. Born in the feywild, at a young age she began caring for hurt animals that strayed onto the feywild plane. She spent her time growing up in the wilds of the feywild and other planes and formed a deep connection to nature itself. For centuries the only thing on her mind was to help nature strife, so that it took her quite some time to realise how powerful she had become and how impactful her work could be outside those planes. After realising this, she ventured further and discovered Seres, where she swore to devote the rest of her live towards the preservation of nature.
Depiction and Worship
While in most of Seres only a handful of people ever saw Nepheria, the city of Enyr was an exception. There, Nepheria showed herself when she saved the village from destruction. Since then, this has been one of the only places where there is a statue of her, depicting her characteristics. While her lower body is that of a deer, her upper body reflects the image of a human-like creature. Her brown fur and skin are covered with small white spots. Her eyes sparkle with an orange and green light, which cannot be missed despite the magnificent hair of red/orange leaves. Though her nature is good, she can be unpredictable and even dangerous at times. Like her, most of her followers are good people, with life and nurture as their priorities, but when angered they can be as deadly as nature itself.

Holidays
Nepheria's Offering occurs every year on the 3rd Heykdas of the ninth month, Sundusk. It is a day where good and bountiful harvest is celebrated and the goddess Nepheria is thanked for allowing people who respect nature, to be nurtured by it. It is seen as sacrilege to hunt or fell trees on this particular day and it is said that Nepehria is particularly unforgiving on this day. However, if you adhere to Nepheria's ways and celebrate her and nature on this special occasion, it is said to bless your next harvest and keep you save when wandering through the woods.
