The Cyning (or King) sits at the top of the government of New Eluthea. He is a direct descendent of Edinn, one of the children of Queen Eluth. Cyning, or King, Gavilar Kholin and Queen Navani, with their five children (and potential heirs)

Hand of the King: one member of each of the five factions of the Children of Eluth holds a seat in the cynings small council. They are the closest advisers to the king and after the king himself, the most powerful and influential people in New Eluthea.

State Magus: Amakusa So Maki

A few hundred years ago, Eluthea was a country under the cruel leadership of Queen Eluth Maeth Kholin, a mage of immense power. She turned the government into a magocracy, where everyone unable to wield the powers of the Bronn lived under poor conditions and was subjected to her whims. As she grew in power, her humanity lessened and she took little interest in the fate of her citizens. The population was starving but Eluth was more concerned with securing her power and fortifying against the mages from the Twilight Academie in Kiun. Insurgents were killed or thrown deep into Eluth Fortress and stories tell of unspeakable magical experiments done on prisoners. In 1222AC, Eluth’s tyranny came to a stop when her four children, Edinn Vurd Kholin, Bathori Res Kholin, Antonius Nodairl Kholin and Velon Earla Kholin realized the true extend of their mother’s wrongdoings and formed an alliance to save their country. With the help of Irenikus, a powerful mage from the Twilight Academy, they overthrew Eluth and her rule and freed the people from poverty and cruelty.

The children of Eluth took an oath to never let greed and megalomania rule their country again and formed the knightly order of the Children of Eluth. An organisation that dedicated themselves to justice, truth, equality and unity. The paladins are known throughout Seres, as they come to the aide wherever people are suppressed and laws are violated. Only recently a group of Children of Eluth found proof of the corruption of Fillion von Kessel, the then head the Seres Zentral Bank and one of the most powerful people of Coni, and they brought him to nustice.

Though the country is still focused on rebuilding what was lost during the dark times, they have become one of the most well known and powerful nations of Waru.

Neighbouring countries: Thanks to the might of the Children of Eluth, not many nations are willing to aggravate New Eluthea or go against their will. The country is mostly on friendly terms with its neighbours, the most notable exception being the people of Wakez, a race of dark and twisted beings who raid and attack the border lands to the north every few decades. Though this has gone on for hundreds of years, there has been no all out war between the countries and some people start to wonder why the mighty New Eluthea has not yet crushed the small tribal nation of Wakez.
