Righteous City

The Righteous City is the Capital of New Elutea and capital of its county Beorssex. Its lies in the Black Pool, a huge artifical lake in the west of the country.

Umgeben von einer flachen Küste, mit Bauernhöfen und Feldern die sich in der Sommersonne im Wind wiegen. Am westlichen Ufer schmiegen sich die Dusk Hills ans Ufer Ausläufer der Adamantine Peaks, welche sich gen Westen groß und mächtig gegen den Himmel abzeichnen. Im Herzen der tiefen und düsteren Wasser des Black Pool liegt die Righteous City. Auf hoch aufgetürmten Inseln sind ein Meer an Dächern, Türmen und Häusern zu sehen. Man erkennt schon aus der Ferne mehrere, teilweise mit Brücken verbundene Inseln und unzählige Schiffe und Boote welche die Wasseroberfläche besiedeln. Die Inseln selbst sind zum großen Teil mit Anlegestellen für Schiffe versehen, steile Holz- und Steingebilde führen über oder durch die Klippen auf die Inseln.

Still under construction when the children of Eluth overthrew their tyrannic mother, the newly found knightly order elected the islands in the Black Pool as the capital of their new country and christened it, as a sign and as a promise, the Righteous City.

Stonebond (Stone) Circle: market, merchants, merchants’ guild, artisans, SZB

Truthlight (Light) Circle: justice building (2. version of the prophecy), Words of Truth (library), the League of Keys (school of learned), hq der Brehonen (Teil der League of Keys), Tyrtempel/Bücherei

Elsewill Circle: State Magus’ tower, artists, Luminous Daydream Theatre, statue garden

Edgedust (Edge) Circle: prison (Black Dungeon), mixed housing, training grounds for the Wardens, Adamantdust Market biggest market (with a flourishing black market)

Moon Circle: pretty green and thinly populated, Heek Temple

The Jaw: poorer housing, fisher and fishing boats

The Claw: largest docks, shipping and warehouses, sailors guild

guarded wells throughout the city, they get “purified” once a day by a magical device. The person overseeing the wells is called Wealler, a highly respected position.
